We Stormed the Capitol
We stormed the Capitol to take back what's ours
on January 6th, 2021
We didn't fuckin' accomplish jack shit, cousins
But ooh-wee did we have us some fun
We Stormed the Capitol with our bonehead brigades
to the sound of the kettle drum
none of our dumb asses knew how to play a fife
so we just marched to the banjo's strum
We had the spirit of 1776
just coursin' through our veins
of course, we're not really sure what happened that year
cause we ain't got them city brains
Them elites with all that book learnin'
have kept us back too long
So we stormed the Capitol after too much 'shine
It must've gone straight to our heads and made us feel strong
We were waitin' in the back woods
for this here day to come
We Stormed the Capitol, my kissin' cousins
to the sound of the banjo's strum
We trashed their desks and stole their files
we showed them who's in charge
can you believe we stormed the Capitol, kinfolk?
and tussled with the Capitol guards
We knew from the beginnin' this shit was WAR!
We knew that there would be casualties
Like my girlfriend who got trampled when we stormed the Capitol
Holdin' a flag that read Don't Tread On Me
(now ain't that called irony?)
Some of us got maced, few others got shot...
me, I just broke a rib or two.
I fell down the Capitols steps when we stormed the sonofabitch
slippin' on the spittle of Skoal Bandits chews
You best believe this won't be the last time
that you hear from us
We made the house look like Walmart on Black Friday
When we stormed the Capitol in our charter bus
We were waitin' in the back woods
for this day to come
We Stormed the Capitol, struck like white lightning
to the sound of the banjo's strum
This day will live in American history
It'll be recorded in songs and poems
We stormed the Capitol in search of freedom
and our missing chromosomes ...
